After trying to decommission chassis the task never finishes. It gets stuck at Erasing chassis identity task:
FSM is stuck at 8% with error 403, Error Leaving fabric port-channel for port 1/16 (the port can be different)
Trying to Acknowledge or Remove Chassis is not successful.
To fix the problem identify all Server ports for that chassis and unconfigure them. You need to do that for both sides of the the fabric.
Go back to FSM and monitor the progress. Be patient as it will take some time but you’ll see that erasing chassis identity task will be skipped on both fabrics and then the chassis becomes decommissioned.
If you need to bring the chassis back then simply configure the unconfigured ports as server ports and recommission the chassis.
