Here is one of the Event errors that I’ve got on one of the SCCM servers.

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID Now open Component Services and navigate to Computers>My Computer>DCOM Config <\/strong>in here look for Application ID<\/strong> that matches AppID<\/strong> in registry. Right click on it and select Properties<\/strong>. \nAs the error suggests the specified account does not have Local Launch permissions for COM server.
\nCLSID<\/strong> in the event is not the same as application ID you can find in the Component Services<\/strong>.
\nTo find Application ID<\/strong> launch registry editor(regedit) and navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\CLSID\\ <\/strong>in there find the CLSID<\/strong> that is shown in the event(in my case it was {A8889E84-14D9-43D0-813A-249BFFE193C2}).
\n<\/em>There you should see the AppID<\/strong> with string value.<\/p>\n
\nClick on Security<\/strong> tab, in Launch and Activation Permissions <\/strong>click Edit<\/strong> button.
\nNow grant the user that is listed in the event Launch Permissions.
